Sr UX Designer, AKQA
New York, NY 2021-Present

Work to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded by gaining a deep understanding of project briefs and executing on industry leading designs. Work with clients such as Verizon, Sunrun, and Delta Airlines. Responsibilities include mapping user flows, understanding and mapping the ecosystems solutions live in, and producing designs for mobile and desktop applications.



Sr UX Designer, Mixlab
New York, NY 2019-2021

Lead designer of three software platforms used by our pharmacy team, veterinarians, and pet parents to create and deliver customized medications. Conducted user observation and testing to identify inefficiencies and streamline process including software and physical space the pharmacy team worked in. Solutions sought to maximize efficiency while providing delightful and personalized experiences.



UX Designer, IBM Watson
Austin, TX 2017-2019

Development of IBM’s conversational AI offering. Worked closely with data scientists to provide end users with solutions which enable them to develop conversational AI products, leveraging AI while providing transparency on how information is being processed. I lead internal and external workshops on designing with AI, and the opportunities and risks this technology presents.



Masters Thesis, KLM
Amsterdam, NL 2017

Explored improving user experience for KLM passengers reclaiming checked baggage. Worked with ground crew to understand current baggage handling process, explored integration new technology, and designed a mobile app informing passengers of exact baggage location.



IBM Hardware
Industrial Designer 2009-2015

Design of IBM computer hardware with focus on user experience, branding, and perception of quality. Refining form, materials, texture, and labeling to ensure beautiful and intuitive products with high quality look and feel. Concept development for IBM Research team’s cutting edge technologies. Travel to manufacturers to ensure production quality. Mentoring aspiring designers through IBM community outreach, development of intellectual property through IBM patent program, and member of IBM’s Green Team.
